Air pollution is one of the most significant environmental risks of our time because of its impact on climate change, public health, and individual health.... In this wake, the Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad, has recently launched a real-time air quality and weather monitoring station to collect and report real-time data on air pollutants and meteorological parameters. The clean air quality research at IIT Palakkad will provide regional-level technical support to the government and private sectors on best practices to reduce air pollution and develop regional-level action plans, strategies, and roadmaps. The clean air quality research platform will derive meaningful value from the data by using data analytics and data science approaches.
